Robland D-630
Once again Robland scores a hit with both professional
and industrial woodworkers. The name Robland stands for advantage
in quality and reliability and the D-630 thicknesser benefits of both
advantages, it is made by Robland!
One other major advantage is the excellent price which places the
machine in a very excellent market position where the price-quality
ratio is not always obvious.

Table:
The precision planed table is mounted on 4 big columns to
give stability, even under very heavy loads.
The 2 speed rise and fall of the table, driven by its own motor
is standard on all machines, the passage of wood is 300mm!
For wet or damp timber adjustable rollers (1 or 2) can be provided.
Please note that this option must be ordered with the initial
order for the machine.
Planed table:
The cast iron table is precision planed for smooth sliding
of the workpiece. Highest quality 'cold process machining' is
used, which produces no stress, ensuring table surface stays
absolutely flat throughout its life.

Machine frame:
The so called 'boxframe' is carefully designed to maximise strength
and rigidity and built of 6mm and 8mm steel plate thus resulting
in an extremely sturdy and torsion resistant base. |
Feeding of the wood:
Standard on all machines : heavy pushers on both in and
outfeed side, 2 steel outfeed rollers, 120mm diameter 4
knife cutter-black.
The optional 'TERSA' cutter-block with 4 turnblades provides
a major advantage of quick precision setting of knives.
Standard equipment on the machine : separate motor drive
of feed rollers with variable speed from 5 to 22m/min.
Optional : the machine can be equipped with noeprene outfeed
rollers.

Motor and transmissions:
The machine is equipped in the standard version with a 5,5kW motor.
Optional motors of 7,5 and 11kW can be provided. Standard tension
is 400 Volt, upon request the machine can be made in 230 Volt
threephase.
The transmission of the cutter block is achieved by 3 V-belts,
the transmission of the feeding rollers is achieved by double
sprockets and chains with automatic tensioners. All different
arbors and automatic chain tensioners have double bearings. |

Thicknesser capacity:
Standard equipment on the D-630: 2-speed rise and fall of the
table, digital read-out with precision 0,1mm, capacity 300mm!
Mounted via 4 big columns, the table offers great stability even
when machining long, heavy timbers. For wet or damp timber, adjustable,
retractable rollers (1 or 2) can be provided.
This option gives you the advantage when productivity comes before
the the finish of the wood.
